i was gonna spoiler tag it but it really isnt a spoiler since its out of context and its an insignificant part of the story anyway.

its also a perfect example of the crazy off the wall shit that happens in sh1/3, whereas in sh2 everything is generally explained by james being fucking insane, everything supernatural that happens in the game is questionable because james is a schitzo whereas in sh3 heather vomits out an aborted half formed fetus of demon jesus christ, picks up a lead pipe and starts fighting it, and then walks home with douglas like nothing happened

again, sh3 has great level design, controls (for a silent hill game), the best nightmare worlds or whatever the fuck you wanna call them, etc but the story is just so boring and stereotypical of the genre that it loses a lot of its appeal, at least to me.

Finally got round to finishing the game this week since I'm back with my PS3. Really liked how they did the last boss, no flashy cinematics and no speeches, because it isn't fucking around with shit that isn't needed here.
I also learned that Darkmoon invasions have no lower level cap, as I invaded some low level dude who had a white phantom with him with my level 82 new game + character. I felt kinda bad about murdering them with a fire tempest, but alas, the guilty pay the price, maybe next time I shall be less of a dick and try to engage in gentlemanly fisticuffs.

Serious question: Is Gravelord's covenant worth a shit yet?
