Saving up metal to have an obnoxious craft-a-thon and finally get a pyro hat. Just 6 more metal.

the only situation I can think of crafting two hats is if you already have another for the same class that you like more, or you get two shitty ones like hatless

so like i crafted my metal and got another scout beanie so i crafted that with a camera beard and i got a viking helmet so now soldier is my main

Extra Scotsman's Stovepipe + Extra Officer's Ushanka = Respectless Rubber Glove.

No complaints, but I already have the Brigade Helm, and I just know I'm gonna be asking myself which outfit I want to wear every time I play Pyro.

My week went significantly better than expected. I received a Bonk Helm as a random drop, and combined it with an extra Tyrolean and netted the hat I wanted most: Sergeant's Drill Hat.

Not even 3 hours later, I find a Pyro's Beanie as yet ANOTHER random drop. And last night, I finally had enough scrap metal to science 3 refined into a Respectless Rubber Glove, making me the proud owner of the first three Pyro hats now. Feels so good, man.

Engineer's Cap + Demo Fro gave me a Stainless Pot.

recently crafted a fancy fedora but since all spy hats are shit and gay i crafted it with my frenchmans beret and got ze goggles

I had a Kabuto and then I found a woopie cap or w/e. I combined them and got... A Trophy Belt.

I am the only person in the world that actually likes the Trophy Belt. Thankfully it was the first hat I crafted (third hat I found).

Few weeks ago crafted metal and got Scotsman's Stovepipe, few hours after that got a Glangarry Bonnet as a drop, so had 2 demoman hats.

Crafted metal today and got Shooter's sola topi, crafted it with the demo top hat and got Safe N Sound for engi, not bad i guess, better than the mining light i have.

Crafted my metal for a Billycock. Crafted it with my Mining Light for a Noble Amassment. I would have been okay with that if it was my first one, but it was my THIRD NOBLE AMASSMENT. Because of that I was stuck with two Nobles for a while, until I got a Tyrolean via drop. Too bad I like my custom model replacement for Medic's Amassment too much to use it, though.

That's why I like the Trophy Belt, as well as the Soldier's Stash and Mining Light; they keep the original hat but add subtle flair to them.

For the longest time I wanted the Master's Yellow Belt, but when I got the Trophy Belt I ended up falling in love with it, and when I found a Master's Yellow Belt it ended up sitting in my backpack.

Now if I could get a Whiskered Gentleman and Physician's Procedure Mask, I could ask for nothing more.

Yeah, I love the Trophy Belt. I know it sounded as if I didn't, but that would be considered "awful" to a lot of people so.. w/e.

Crafted out of metal a WHISKERED GENTLEMAN today. I don't regret not waiting for polycount hats.

So, last night I had a dream about tf2. Actually, I can't really call it a dream because it was crystal clear. I'd find a pain train and craft it with my equalizer and then I would craft my metals together for a hatless sniper I would then craft my other sniper hat with it for a heavy hat and then my dream stopped.

I now have the heavy rag hat.

I have never found a hat

My first 2 crafts were a trophy belt and a mining light which I crafted together into another mining light.

After that I crafted the green slime thing for pyro which I crafted with my mining light into a Glengary Bonnet.

Someday I will get a hat I like.

So I have enough for a pyro hat now. The question is now whether or not I should wait for the release of the gasman pack or not. I like the hat+bowtie combo but I worry they'll split them up into a hat+misc which doesn't entice me enough to want it. What do you guys think?

i took a nap and forgot to turn tf2 off and when i got back i had found the sniper's bucket hat. felt alright i guess.

Finally got 3 refined metals together after breaking down most of my unlocked equipment that I don't use and drops, got the fucking Whoopee Cap.

I don't play Scout, and I had to get the worst fucking hat in the game for him (in my opinion).
