Why would anyone bother getting a "good" keyboard? I think a decent one is a just fine, you don't get more precision like you do with a better mouse so what's the point.

it is pretty much the cheapest mechanical keyboard you can get.
and it looks and feels good without you having to paint it.
and it has some nice features like the macros, backlight (off/dimm/light/bright/"breathing"), USB and mic/hf jack

but really if you want a nice keyboard and not a model m for whatever reason but not fucking das expensive there are actually quite a lot of options that i'm not familiar with these days

a g15 on ebay is probably a pretty good option if you don7t want to spend too much as i don't think there's anything mechanical under $60, and i know people that have gone from a model m to a g15 and not regretted it
i've heard fairly good things about blackwidow and sidewinder x6.
also the steelseries 6Gv2 but that's approaching das prices

Sidewinder x6 is pretty great for ~$80, all the keys are backlit and being able to move or ditch the numpad helps when you're shuffling around tablets and joysticks and whatever.

Also the picture lies the numpad is red not yellow.

The design/font choice for the button is obviously really takei but it's got the same switches you'll find in all the $100+ mech. keyboards. Pretty decent deal imo.
