Introducing Fighting Amphibian's first GGPO Third Strike ranbat season!

What is a "ranbat" you ask? A Ranking Battle season is a series of tournaments in which top placing players accumulate points. Whoever has the highest amount of cumulative points at the end of the season is that season's ranbat champion. Seasons often last 6-8 weeks. After one season ends the winners are crowned and point totals are reset for the next season.

Each Saturday at 6:00PM EST (10:00PM GMT) I will be hosting a double elimination tournament which will contribute to each participating player's ranbat point total. Each Ranbat season will last 6 sessions (6 weeks assuming no holidays and such) after which a winner will be crowned and the next season will start. Top 3 for each season will be posted on the FAighting 'round the world group page (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/FAightan).

The awarded point totals will be as follows:
1st - 10 pts
2nd - 7 pts
3rd - 5 pts
4th - 3 pts
5th - 2 pts
7th - 1 pt

Matches will be best two out of three and all ranbat sessions will be scheduled on the group page. I encourage everyone who has even a slight interest in 3S, even if you're terrible, to show up. Ranbats are meant not only to find out who's the best, but also to make everyone better. Shit is also fun.
