120hz means minimal screen tearing and 3ms means almost no input lag- just like the asus one but it runs on 120hz which is incredibly good for PC games that aren't capped at 60 frames
the trace free technology thing elminates ghosting or traces of the picture when moving quickly making you see a clipped version of the picture moving behind it


also the lagless thing means eliminating the slight delay from pressing a button and the character onscreen doing the motion
a lot of HDTVs have this problem

the monitor itself will be fine if you play mainly fighting/console games

basically lower response times means better quality of fast moving scenes commonly featured in video games

you can find better sources of how this shit works from google but the more important specs for gaming is refresh rate and delay in ms (grey to grey or otherwise)

If you have a question on a specific monitor you can search SRK to see if it's been tested. Low response time does not automatically mean lag free.

Most tournaments that are buying new equipment anyway get the Evo Monitor because it's tested, widely accepted to be lagless, and cost effective.
